Excellent role on offer for a CAD engineer who is looking for an autonomous role, working on bespoke projects within an expanding company?
Are you experienced at using AutoCAD in 2D and 3D? Do you have experience with laser cutting?
This company have been established for over 40 years and specialise in the design and manufacture of bespoke products. This company use state of the art equipment ensuring their products are delivered at the highest standard.
In this role you will be working directly under the director and production manager. On a day to day basis you will be taking initial specification from customers, then producing 3D drawings which then you will programme the laser machine to produce the end product.
This is an ideal opportunity for a CAD engineer who is looking to join an expanding company where you will play a key role developing the products for the new contracts which have just been won.
* Taking initial specification to create a drawing, using a laser cutter to produce sheet metal products
* Using a broad range of metals for CNC laser cutting
* Order materials needed for upcoming jobs
* £28,000-£35,000 + Long Term Progression + Pension + Excellent benefits
* CAD engineer
* Good experience with AutoCAD 2D/3D
* Must have experience operating a laser cutting machine
* Must have working knowledge of bend allowances
