Trainee Production Technician

Excellent role on offer for a Trainee Production Technician looking to join a diverse, market leading organisation that is focused on offering its employees extensive training in a specialist industry, working within a highly skilled team where you can progress.

This renowned, market leading company specialise in refrigerant gas monitoring equipment. They supply, install service and maintain a vast range of high end products for blue chip clients. They design, manufacture, project manage, install, commission and service/maintain for their clients.
Due to continued growth they are now looking to recruit an additional Production technician to complement their highly skilled team in the workshop.
In this role you will be required to perform electro-mechanical assembly on a wide range of products, assembly and modification of electrical panels, assemble infa-red based leak detection systems, testing and repairing customer returned equipment, assisting in product development, testing and prototype construction, with occasional visit to customer sites to help fault find and assist with install and servicing.
With training provided, you can become an expert within this field, working autonomously in this varied position. The role is working a 37.5hr working week.
This role would ideally suit someone with fault finding and wiring skills, or a Junior engineer who has completed a multi-skilled apprenticeship or has some experience with electrical and mechanical panels.
* Site based at Egham, Surrey. 37.5 hour working week
* Assembly and modification of electrical panels
* Occasional install, fault finding, Service and Maintenance on refrigerant gas monitoring equipment on customer sites.
* Assembly of infa-red based detection systems
* Testing and repairs to customer returned products
*Assist in product development, testing and prototype construction.
