Excellent opportunity for a agricultural graduate engineer to join a small but growing company that will give you the chance to develop your engineering skills to become a highly skilled project manager.

This company are based in Backwell, Bristol and specialise in the design or special purpose machinery that are supplied into a variety of industries. They’re going through a big growth period which will see them double turnover and headcount within 1-2 years.

As Graduate Engineer you will report to the Senior Project Manager and, on a day to day basis, you will interface regularly with both him/her and the Operations Manager as well as the Development Engineer and individual Field Service Engineers who may be undertaking site activities on your projects.

This is a demanding role and you will be highly self-motivated and capable of working both independently and as part of a close team. You will have an interest in developing innovative technologies whilst seeking to further progress the technical strength of the Company and maintain our leading position amongst our competitors.

The ideal candidate will have a BEng in Agricultural engineering and have hobbies based round hands on application such as cars and motors etc.

The role:

*Designing and implementing cost-effective equipment modifications to help improve safety and reliability;
*Developing a project specification with colleagues, often including those from other engineering disciplines;
*Developing, testing and evaluating theoretical designs;
*Discussing and solving complex problems with manufacturing departments, sub-contractors, suppliers and customers;
*Making sure a system can be made reliably and will perform consistently in specified operating environments;
*Managing projects using engineering principles and techniques;

The person:

*University Degree. BEng Agricultural Engineering
*Candidates must have a mechanical aptitude- hobbies in cars etc
