Are you an experienced CNC machinist with experience in other workshop duties such as fabrication and tooling? Are you looking for an immediately available, interesting and varied role within prestigious R+D department?
On offer is a post within a rapidly expanding Research and development department at a leading University. Due to continued growth my client is looking for a CNC machinist with experience of operating workshop equipment such as Lathes, Milling machines and presses. They require you to work on a contract basis initially for 2-3 months.
Your main responsibilities will include working in a research laboratory to help students and other academics with projects, designing test rigs, cutting and fabricating, use various hand tools, CNC milling/turning, helping with ordering materials, and the candidate should preferably have a HNC or similar.
This is a fantastic opportunity for any CNC machinist who has experience of carrying out other workshop based tasks, looking for an immediately available contract role within a prestigious company that will provide a varied and interesting workload.
