Are you an Environmental Health Officer looking for a wide ranging and technically challenging role at a prestigious London based project?
This is an ideal role for a Health Officer looking to head up the health and safety department in a long term redevelopment & extension project.
My client specialise in providing a host of critical services, including construction, maintenance , IT, Waste management, Housing & Community solutions across the whole of London. Due to a number of redevelopment projects around Camden, my client is in need of a number of Environmental Health Officers.
The main purpose of your role as the Environmental Health Officer will be to prepare and serve Statutory Notices and take enforcement action in line with my client strategy and departmental enforcement policies. As this is a community project you will also have to consult/negotiate with developers, landlords, contractors, business and other clients as appropriate, to ensure the progress of casework.
Carrying out inspections, re-inspections and surveys
Attending Public Inquiries, courts of law, and tribunals in line with project.
Consulting/negotiating with developers, landlords, contractors, business and other clients
BSc or Diploma in Environmental Health and be EHORB registered as an EHO
Good working knowledge of relevant legislation and codes of practice
Previous experience in similar role, i.e community/council project
