Excellent opportunity on offer for a specialist Chemical or Mechanical Engineer with experience of COMAH standards looking to join a world leading chemical manufacturing company where you will have opportunities to progress your career and make a real impact to this global leading company.

Do you have experience of COMAH regulations? Do you have knowledge of Process Safety best practice? Are you looking to relocate to the picturesque seaside town of Broadstairs, Kent?

This global leading company specialise in the research, manufacture and marketing of speciality printing inks for screen and inkjet systems and technology. They employ over 300 people within a high tech, state of the art manufacturing facility with research and development facilities. They have created a new and exciting position for a Process Safety Specialist to provide technical expertise to ensure the company's process safety best practice and lower tier site COMAH compliance.

In this role you will be required to provide expert advice on culture change programme that delivers standards, behaviours and attitudes to process safety management. You will develop Process Safety hazard and risk assessment systems to ensure that adequate safeguards and controls are in place. Provide leadership and guidance on the sites COMAH management plan and improvement projects whilst proactively leading safety reviews and taking responsibility for ensuring all actions are completed. You will work alongside external HSE experts who provide guidance and any training that is needed to carry out the role.

This interesting and highly responsible role would ideally suit a qualified Mechanical or Chemical Engineer who has knowledge of Process Safety best practice with experience of the COMAH regulations that is looking to join a friendly, ambitious company that will look after you and give you the tools to progress your career within Quality Assurance or even to management.

The Role;

* Process Safety Specialist
* Develop Process Safety hazard and risk assessment systems
* Provide leadership and guidance on the sites COMAH management plan
* Improve the sites Process Safety Performance indicators
* Work alongside external HSE consultants
* £45,000 - £50,000 + Bonus + Healthcare + Pension + 26.5 Holidays + Life Assurance (9 times salary) + Relocation Package
* Excellent schooling within a picturesque seaside location

The Person;

* Qualified Chemical or Mechanical Engineer
* Must have experience of COMAH regulations
* Knowledge of Process Safety Management
* Happy to relocate to Broadstairs, Kent
* Must be personable and able to deal with all levels of the organisation
