Heavy Vehicle Technician
£27’500 + Overtime (£30k Plus) + Training
36.5 hours a week Mon-Friday
Are you a vehicle technician who has worked on heavy vehicle previously?
This is an ideal position for a HGV technician looking to work for a stable position working for a large company in a state of the art workshop where you will do pre MOT inspections and routine maintenance and service work.
This well-established national company have a fantastic facility at their Swindon site with a wide range of light and heavy commercial vehicles. They have a great reputation in the area for having a very low staff turnover and the ability to offer all employees a stable long term career.
The main duties of the position will be to carrying out the full range of Inspection, diagnosis, maintenance and repair procedures on all types of vehicles, trailers and mechanical equipment within the workshop.
*Inspection, diagnosis, maintenance and repair of vehicles on site
*36.5 hours a week plus lots of over time
*£27’500 + Overtime (OTE £35k Plus) + Training
The Ideal Person for the role:
*City and Guild level 1 & 2 as a minimum in vehicle maintenance or equivalent
*City and Guilds Level 3 and fabrication experience is an advantage
*Has to have worked on either LGV’s or HGV’s
*Anyone from an armed Forces or heavy plant machinery background will be considered
*Someone who wants to increase their earnings through overtime
