Position for a Materials Controller to step into a fully autonomous role for a global leading manufacturer where you will be responsible for maximising the yield and minimising waste of stock.
This is an ideal role for a Materials Controller with MRP/ERP experience looking to work in a specialist environment for a company that can technically and personally develop your career long term.
Having achieved the position for the world’s largest producer of a very specialist product their innovation and technologies are unmatched in the industry. The main duties of the position will be to control stock/materials and to optimise the availability of material to also assist the department in reaching maximum return potential on material usage. Reducing waste and being proactive in the re-assignment of stock and materials in line with customers’ needs and department projects.

The ideal person for the role:
*The ideal applicant must have worked for or within a manufacturing site
*Ideally from an FMCG, Automotive, chemical or Aerospace manufacturing
*Ideal for someone looking for a challenging yet rewarding role
*Someone with an eye for detail and strong numeracy skills
*You have to have previous MRP/ERP systems experience as SAP can be trained
*A forklift licence would be beneficial but again training can be giving
