Responsible Business Practice
Leaving a good legacy has always been more important to us than just generating profit
When we look back in years to come, we won’t just be proud of what we have achieved, but also how we have achieved it.
At Rise Technical it is important for us to do what is right rather than just suffice the bare legal requirements.
We try to act sensitively and responsibly in regards to environmental and ethical issues.
Our goal isn’t profit at any cost, but to know that tomorrow’s success depends on the trust we build today.
Customers
We define the customer as both “job seekers” and “businesses that we recruit for”.
A customer focused solution where our service aims to enrich the lives of the consumer. Our service is based upon finding the best person for the job in the quickest, most efficient way, whilst ensuring those individuals match the long term needs of the businesses, allowing careers to be built.
We constantly try to improve our service in line with what our customers want. We view our consumer’s happiness as the key to our success.
Environment
Rise keeps its impact on the environment to the bare minimum. We recognise the need for initiatives to further reduce our carbon footprint.
Recycled Paper
All Rise offices have recycle bins for waste paper and where possible we do as much as we can electronically.
Electricity Usage
Every office is committed to turning off all electrical equipment at the end of the working day to reduce our consumption.
Telephone Interviews
To decrease the carbon foot prints of our applicants travelling time we conduct formal telephone interviews. Whilst still allowing us to be efficient and check identification, we have significantly reduced fuel consumption and pollution.
Pool Cars
To reduce the number of company vehicles Rise has pool cars for consultants to visit clients.
Toners and Cartridges
We recycle all toners and cartridges.
We are constantly looking to introduce processes that are environmentally friendly.
Equal Opportunities
We have an equal opportunities policy in our company. We aim to employ and work with people who reflect the diversity of society and we value people and their contribution irrespective of age, sex, disability, sexual orientation, race, colour, religion, marital status or ethnic origin.
We do not tolerate any sexual, physical or mental harassment of our employees.
Procedures are in place to respond to accusations of workplace discrimination, harassment and victimisation.
An effective employee grievance procedure is in operation, and is properly communicated to all of our staff.
